Skyelark of London - Day 7
Blog 9
Yesterday evening the wind backed to a more northerly direction so we could
sail on a broad reach through the night, making 6 knots, the sky was clear
all night with the last of the moon rising just after 3.00am, I saw a couple
of shooting stars and made wishes.
During the day we have remained on a broad reach making 7knots plus, Chris
started the day well with a small fish which he decided was too small to eat
and let it go.
Connie baked the bread and kept the pressure on the rest of the crew to
maintain the standard set.
This afternoon we have passed the halfway point and to celibrate a bottle of
bubbles was opened. Tonight we are putting Skyelark time back one hour at
18.00hours to give us 2 happy hours.
As I type this blog Dan & Em are cooking our Mid-Atlantic meal of Roast
leg of Lamb with roast potatoes and all the trimmings followed by Apple
Crumble
