In Tune - IN TUNE 3rd December. Birthday boy!

Last night there was very light wind - down to about 7-8 knots. This reduced boat speed to about 3-4 knots and the Parasailor kept collapsing. Still, we persisted and the wind picked up again around dawn.
Today has been idyllic - mostly sunny and with wind of about 13 knots we've averaged about 6.3 knots of speed in very comfortable conditions. A special day because it was Steve's birthday. Geraldine continues to spoil us - she cooked not one, but two birthday cakes for Steve. So, at morning tea time, we sung happy birthday and tucked into orange cake.
The days pass very easily, today we also treated ourselves to a wash! The weather continues to gradually warm up - I (Philip) was down to one jacket on watch last night. No fish caught today. We saw a few dolphins early morning, but still no other boats in sight.
