Yesterday at watch change from Morning to Forenoon, we crossed over the
half way point. That meant, for some of us, the mailman arrived.
Letters from home from friends and family were opened, and some tears were
shed. I was wonderful to have something to remind us that not only are we
thinking of people as we tell stories about them, but that those same people are
likely thinking of us.
P.S. Alex wishes his brother Hendrik a very happy birthday back in the UK.
“Hope you celebrated appropriately buddy, remember to go to lectures
though!”
