In Tune - 4th December Escaping Fish

A perfect night when the wind dropped a little. After 4 am Venus shone a bright silver over the crescent pale golden moon. Very little moon from now on.

Not long after dawn the reel screamed and we were spooled by a big fish. We had to re-fill the reel with a new rig. We are running out of lures now. It didn't take long for the wind to pick up again and we have been pushed along by 13-15 knot wind all day. Morning saw the team walk the decks to inspect the rigging. Yet again in the morning we hooked a fish but lost it in the fight. With mainly sunny days, Angela continues to work on her tan on the bow. No other boats, but many flying fish sighted. Martin won the afternoon crib game. Dinner tonight is chicken satay courtesy of Geraldine as usual.
