Skyelark of London - Day 9

Blog 11
Mother nature rules.
As very precisely described by Connie above, with respect to our guessing on
arrival time, and how we were talking loudly about changing and
re-scheduling of our flight tickets. Guess what - Mother nature was
listening in, and provided us a little lesson later in the evening, in the
way of a lifted "Squal finger". This gave a lot of exercise. And 8 hours
later, with numerous changes of sail and poles, the "cocky crew" is now in a
more humble state of mind. We will arrive when we see land. It is only a
matter of time. Then re-schedule things.

Apart from that one week down the timeline, of this wonderful journey,
learning a lot, from these two wonderful people Em and Dan, who generously
gives away all there hard earned experiences, I am enjoying this trip so
much.

Mother nature sharing all off her free gifts every night, in the form of
humongous amount of Squids following the Skyelark, while firing of their
little sparks of electricity, in the hope of being the chosen next
Gen-provider to be part of the next generation of Atlantic Squids.

Not to mention the Star parade above us, every night, seen from 18 degree
North of equator, is looking slightly different, than that of the northern
56 degree at home. The "Plough" (Karlsvognen) stands on the head, down here.
But surprisingly, the Northern star is still in the same position. I have
never seen such a display of stars before in my life. Shooting stars every
night, so a lot of wishing is going on.
Today I baked my first Flutes, and yes I used a secret recipe, namely Irenes
recipe. And in a few minutes the judges will give me a verdict, it is a very
hard competition, judging from the 2 first bakers.
No fish the last couple of days, but we shall Endeavour to get our Tuna.
