Dobro Dani - log day 15 - Canadianisms

As Dobro Dani is a Canadian sailboat with an all crew Canadian we thought you might like to know some of the Canadianisms we use on board her.

Double Double - this is our on-board communications wifi system which allows all the communications to talk to each other. In Canada, this is how we order a coffee with 2 cream and 2 sugar

Mileage Countdown - once we hit the double digits (99 or less), we refer to each one of significance to a hockey player from home for example/ Wayne Gretzky is 99, so rather than say we have 99nm to go we say we have a Wayne Gretzky.
