Day 4 has found us motoring due to very light
winds. We have been visited by a
pod of dolphin with clear skies leading to some cloud cover, which is
appreciated. The crew members from
the US have been working on our feast.
So far, we have prepared an original form of pumpkin pie, using pumpkin
soup as the key ingredient. Also
ready are squash with apples and cranberry sauce. The turkey was spatchcocked. Mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy
still need to be prepared. As I
write we are turning off the motor and going for a swim, before the final push
to prepare the feast.

Andy and Kitty did the most amazing job of bringing the delights of the
Thanksgiving holiday to Skyelark -
planning ahead of time, packing the the essentials from home - we had a magnificent feast, as outlined
above and washed down for some with a little red wine. Delicious - already looking forward to the leftovers
for lunch - that was one big
bird..
