Yesterday was sooooo boring!!! Drifting around trying to find what little
wind there was and make the most of it, sails flapping and flogging.
Still I took the opportunity to have a dip, holding on to a trailing fender
– its surprising how fast you actually are moving! Adrian and Justin followed
suit – Justin taking the opportunity to do his laundry as well – he was
wondering when the spin cycle was going to start!
Martin has a rope burn injury, which we’ve been dressing and treating with
antibiotic cream – Justin said it was like watching that programme on TV –
Animal Hospital!
The sea is fairly glassy and we have some dolphins have been sighted, but
not much else in the way of wild life.
Last night was very dark – it is a new moon, and there was quite a lot of
cloud cover, it felt very eerie out on the night watch.
We’ve had to do some maintenance on the bow sprit this morning, before we
launched the cruising chute once more, we are now making more progress towards
the trade winds.
