Tilda - Meet the crew: Captain Fab

Fabri was born in Trieste, North-East of Italy, the land of of Bora (a gusty and cold wind that clean the sky and forge good sailors)

He started sailing with his family when he was very young and in 2016 he got in love with Tilda, a bluewater cutter ketch. The passage from Southampton to the Mediterranean Sea is long and permitted Fabri to strenghten his sailing experience and meet new friends that are now part of the ARC adventure.

He is a calm and prepared skipper; he takes care of his boat and his crew with a lot of attention on safety and many funny stories about sailing.

His trademarks are his large smile and a tatoo on the ankle: an anchor with the motto “HOLD FAST”.
