Misty Mhor - Mhor Miseries Monday 22nd Nov

First the good news. We enjoyed our first night at sea, mostly motoring but trying to sail when ever possible. We are all heading south to south west hoping for the trades to fill in.
We set the code zero from our bowsprit when the wind came up from the south but with less than 8 knots it buckled. See photo. So back to the motor. We had noticed a distinct lack of hot water in our showers. This led us to examine the circulation from the engine and all was not well. The thinking is that an airlock is stopping it from going round and the overheating alarm went off. The medics on board are trying to solve the boats circulatory problems.
Other good news is that we caught a fish, a smallish blue fin tuna which will supplement our diet and we were also visited by a small pod of dolphins. The wind has taken on doldrum like properties as we head further south.
