Sunbeat VI - Day 8 - change of plans

The day dawned - not unusually - with a gybe and hoist of the spinnaker. There were big clouds behind us - one of which materialised into a little squall, but not enough to take the spinnaker down.
Another flying fish committed suicide on the deck, but was well baked in the sun by the time it was discovered.
As we settle into our routine, books are starting to appear in the cockpit.
Following the latest weather forecast, we are now heading further south than originally intended. This is due to a large area of light winds that will move across our route on Thursday.
