maggio 2023.
It was a moonless night, and stars sparkled in the spots
of the sky the clouds were not covering.
Venus was shining brightest, making a reflection on the
sea like a substitute moon.
What yesterday had in favorable winds, today took away.
We flew our gennaker all night but as the sun rose, it was stored away and the
engine was turned on.
It is still going as I write these lines, gently lulled
by the long waves of the calm ocean.
We had lunch floating on a silver sea, observing the
different cloud formations around us, hoping to find the one that will bring us
wind.
In the afternoon we saw a whale and Marco managed to get
a picture of it. Blurry evidence of two paths that crossed briefly.
