Time Out - End of Day 1 Bermuda to Azores

So, we made it out of Bermuda, to be honest, one of the hardest departures we have had, but we crossed the minefield of reef’s and got out into open sea. Sailing along in light winds, quite a lot of waves due to the recent Northerly system, but everything is going to plan. The crew (most of them) are rediscovering the Atlantic, which basically means they ain’t feeling great. This will pass quickly, and tomorrow the waves drop so we should be back to normal. No cooking tonight, I got the Chilli Con-Carne out the freezer which was made for this sort of day, and I’m sure everybody will be feeling better.

The first night watch is coming up, but with dropping winds it should be a peaceful evening.
