Champagne Hippy - Day 8 - 26th November

Again much of the same happening here on Champagne Hippy sun, music, and sails up. Although, having said that we had relatively light winds today so mid-afternoon decided to take down the spinnaker.

This morning whilst relaxing on deck the familiar sound of Rodney having caught something clicked into our ears. Julia sprung into action and after an arm-aching time reeled in a beast of a Whoo! Captain Josh then gave a lesson in filleting a fish showing us an example on one side and then Julia practicing on the other. This resulted in two large sides being produced. One Matt rustled up as a delicious dinner and the other saved for another day in the freezer.

Today is our 8th day at sea and we are hoping it's almost a mid point. To celebrate our chief baker Becca whipped up some delicious cupcakes much appreciated and enjoyed by all. I’m pretty sure they won’t make it through the night watches!
