Epiphany - The Ocean

A baby blue sky
Dotted with puffs of white
A deep blue ocean
Topped with horses of white

A lone yacht small as a speck
Gliding atop the undulating blue
Three adventurers aboard
Flying the flags of red, white and blue

The majestic wind filling the sails
Pulling tight the sheet of red
An invisible power pulling us home
In our way no stoplight of red

Dolphins play out at the bow
Their skins a covered in dotted grey
A welcome company in this vast space
Keeping our hearts warm and not grey

The sound of the waves hitting the bow
A continuous wake of bubbling white
The rhythm of a life at sea
Helping us to remember life is alright
