tuesday 26th Nov
A good nights
sailing with with full main and yankee 1 taking us through the night with the
help of dolphins again. The dawn
broke to another day with good visibility and NE3 winds. Fishing recommenced and it wasn't long
before Mike had a Mahi Mahi which was soon caught and prepared for us to enjoy
later. Unfortunately the larger
tuna got away along with Mikes sailing hat ! More to the point Alex then got
her crew organised to set up the spinnaker which is now flying as I write and we
are sailing very nicely with a top speed of 10 knots (average 7.7) but not
quite in the right direction yet - we need to get further south to find those
trade winds. To add to the
excitement of the day the first watch had showers - what a treat
!
