Its day eight onboard S/Y Bluejay
and the crew have become a well-oiled machine. Today's pole out drill was our
smoothest yet with next to nothing being spoken in the cockpit as we all read
each others movements and worked together seamlessly. The consistent Atlantic
swell has made life onboard a little more adventurous but we are all so grateful
for the favourable tradewinds pushing us ever so closer to St Lucia, so we dont
mind the occasional spilt coffee or unintended perch on a fellow crew mates lap.
Spirits remain high as music is played, stories are shared, bread is kneaded,
fresh fish reeled in and celestial sights taken. There is no doubt we have all
adapted to life out on the ocean wave a phenomenon not many get to experience.
