It is so nice to finally look at the chart and see that we are pretty much half way there! Especially after the first days in very light winds not making much progress, Bluejay has been flying along now with the hope to gain on sister ship Hummingbird, who is only 20nM ahead but more north than us. As the afternoon progressed the skies started looking a little moodier, and the forecast showed potential isolated squalls for our area. Radar is on ready for squall watch tonight, but the stars are peepng through so hoping it will stay clear but as we know they can develop very quickly! A little rain is welcomed after the heat of the day!
