Ideal - Day 6

Day 6

We finally found the Trade Winds two days ago and have been speedy sailing ever since. Yesterday we logged 180 miles, which puts us at 885 for the trip so far! Only 2,100 to go. We've been cruising along at 7-8 knots under a 17 knot wind from the ESE.

We still haven't had any luck fishing (unless you count the flying fish and Portuguese man-o-war that made their way onto our deck) and haven't seen much wildlife except a few pods of high flying dolphins with no interest in us.
