We have covered 210 miles in the last 24hrs, good average of 8.75 an hour. Gotta love that big pink gennaker!! It makes helming a pleasure! We took it down last night as I heard Sammy shout on the helm 'wooo hooo
13.7 kts'! Surfing down the waves it excellent fun.
We had a top dinner yesterday with pepper steaks cooked on the BBQ. I'd be very surprised if we had any pepper left on board, our mouths were on fire! Had to have a cold fruit salad for afters to cool us down!
At 11.40 this morning we crossed the half way mark , and had a cold beer to celebrate....its all down hill from here!
