Crazy Horse - Journey to Tuamotus

We left on Monday and are out here in the Pacific making our way to Rangiroa. We had planned to go to Manihi but would have arrived in the dark and abandoned that idea. So we will keep moving until we arrive at Rangiroa hopefully early Friday morning so we can arrive in the light and at low tide
which is 6 or hi tide which is at noon. We got that information from Eric in Maryland who found it out through the internet.

These next islands which we will visit are lagoons which are tricky to get into because of the current
and coral and tides. Running aground here and in the Chesapeake are two different things.

We are looking forward to a nice quiet anchorage not too rolly. I would also like to visit the pearl harvesting company which is located on this island.

It is dark now and we see the light of Ocean Jasper about 6 miles off our port. It is always nice to see a friendly light. So far they are the only boat we have seen. We keep in touch with them on the SSB two times a day.
