Crazy Horse - Bora Bora Yacht Club

We made it here yesterday to Bora Bora and today we officially made it as
members of the Bora Bora Yacht Club. Don't know how we will make it to all
the meetings during the year. Really the place is really great with open air
walls, thatched roof, sandy beach, great food, and wonderful company. We
could really like it here!

Tonight we went to Bloody Mary's. I think almost the entire contingency
here from the World ARC went too. Jutta and Jochum from Chessie flew here
from Tahiti to be with the fleet while their boat is being repaired there.
It was wonderful to dine with them tonight and see all the other sailors
together one last night before the start of the next leg tomorrow. The fish
and meat was wonderful and prepared to our preferences. First time I had a
salad to go with the meal for a long time. Prices were typical of French
Polynesia-high. What a lovely decor and floor was done all in sandy beach.
We just made it back to the Crazy Horse at 11pm and it has started raining.
We are turning French with our late dinners.

Yesterday they had a dinghy race with all the crews from the boats with no
rules. We watched while Matt and the crew of Tucannon created problems for
the other dinghies. There was lots of laughing and water, milk, and flour
being splashed everywhere. Ronja would have been first had they not been so
intent on stopping Tucannon. Sunrise easily flew ahead in the midst of all
the chaos.

Last night the owners of the Yacht Club put on a dinner for us with a
barbecue and side dishes made by the fleet. It was nice to have Dreamcatcher
back in the fold. They seem to finally have things sorted out and have a
wonderful positive attitude about the rest of the rally. Ciao made it here
today after winning the Tahiti Pearl Regatta in a resounding victory. Srecko
and Olga are a fantastic sailing team with a great boat.

Tomorrow all are planning on leaving for the next leg. Crazy Horse and Ocean
Jasper are waiting a couple of extra days to get shopping done and clothes
washing done. Wild Tigris won't be leaving either since they are waiting
for crew changes. We will probably skip Suwarrow and proceed directly on to
Nuie.

The next leg will be more than 1000 miles so we will have to adjust to a
longer voyage at sea again. We have stocked up and almost ready for all the
meals. We will refuel probably tomorrow or the next day.
