Crazy Horse - Leg 7

Yesterday 12 boats started on the seventh leg of the World Arc Rally '10-11.
The boats were Tucannon, Liza, Voyageur, Thor VI, Ronja, Dreamcatcher, Ciao,
A Lady, Sunrise, Asolare, Noeluna, and Gran Filou. Matt and I took photos
from the dinghy as they started across the line. They were excited to get
onto the next leg and sad to leave French Polynesia. Crazy Horse, Brown-Eyed
Girl, Ocean Jasper, and Wild Tigris are still here at Bora Bora for various
reasons and will move on within the next couple of days. Some of the fleet
left earlier in the week for Suwarrow. We may just move on to Niue since we
are getting a late start.
Yesterday Bill and I went with Ana and Jim to the restaurant called Bloody
Mary's. It has a wonderful decor and great food so we just can't resist
going a 2nd time. They have wonderful fish but hamburgers for lunch so Bill
just had to have one. Of course their Bloody Mary's are the best in the
world.
We had a wonderful evening on Wild Tigris with them, Brown-Eyed Girl, and
Ocean Jasper. We were all happy to relax and not have to worry about night
shift. However, we are all excited to get a move on to the next stop too.
Today we will have a tour around the island with Jochem and Jutta from
Chessie. There is a local here who provides tours and will give us an idea
of the culture of the people from Bora Bora.
Hope all of you back home are enjoying the wonderful spring weather and all
the flowers and trees in bloom.
