What a wonderful night we had last night. Bob and Maggie organized the whole thing and the rest of us just made some extra food and attended. Setting-There is this wonderful sandy beach with palm trees surrounding us, a fire that has been going for several hours and on that fire is fish and lobsters sizzling with butter and coconut sauce. Stars are out in full and you can hear this sound of waves in the background. This was truly a feast and wonderful company. Vilde, Bob, and Jack even played the guitar and sang us some tunes. Some of the tunes were even in Norwegian.
We had about 18 people and somehow there was plenty of food and drink. This was a night to remember as tops for me and the crew of Crazy Horse. Anyway thanks to our friends Bob and Maggie from Ocean Jasper who made it a wonderful night and true feast on the island of Tonga.
Today we hope to snorkel around this island and find some caves that I can dinghy or walk into. They have lots of bats around here as we could hear them clearly after our return in the dark from the beach last night.
We are waiting to see about this weather system that may affect us before setting off for Fiji. Until then it is nice to be out of the harbor and anchored around these wonderful little islands.
