Isles des Saintes
This is a beautiful anchorage just south of Guadalupe. The photo was taken on our way up to Napoleans Fort (photo). GG is centred in the pic, note the large square rigger to right. Windsurfers and kite boarders reach back and forth across the small entrance to the bay. In the wide passage between here and Guadeloupe back in the late 1700s, Lord Rodney defeated the French fleet using radical new sea battle tactics. The French are still talking about it.
Currently in Martinique at Fort de France after a boisterous nights sail down the west coast of Dominica.
It's new years eve but we missed the fireworks which were last night!
