We've had 2 days of big wind and big waves - wind over 35 knots (gusting to 40s) and waves 10-12 feet but a number over 15 feet or so too. The girls woke up this morning and declared it's just like a Disney ride - they've named it the "Wave Coaster." They thought it was hilarious when a few waves broke over the stern and we had about 4 inches of water in the cockpit. Luckily at this time (early evening) it appears that the wind and waves have moderated and we just put up the full mainsail and full genoa.
