Wind Dancer - LOG 9: Panamanian Feast

It was just a quick day 'sail' down from La Playita to the anchorage in Contadora, Las Perlas, to regroup with the fleet once again. Not an hour out and the fishing line went, we slowed the boat and reeled in our first Mahi for the World ARC. We got the female (they swim in pairs) and brought her up on to the boat where Mike's trained hand took care of the rest.

Once we reached our anchorage and were happy with the hook, it was ceviche, grilled Mahi on the new BBQ, pigeon peas and rice and an avocado salad. This was the perfect end of the day with little wind, but we did manage to sail a little with the spinnaker.

We have enjoyed a nice walk around Contadora, and are looking forward to the skipper's briefing this afternoon to inform us of the trip down to the Galapagos.
