Freedom Found - Log Day 4 - Sat 26 - Shooting Star

Weather is still quiet. Morning shift started with a really bright & long lasting shooting star. Amazing in the dark skys of a moonless Atlantic. Yes breakfast saw fish cakes - Had to be really after our success yesterday!!! The continuous number of sea birds currently unidentified (petrols?) White & brown web feet and smiley faces cos were feeding them excess fish! Check on fuel consumption by refilling main tank saw us using about 0.35 US gal per hour (1.3 Litres/hr) so still have much more fuel than we thought. Engine running very frugal 13-1500 rpm. Averaging 100 nm /day. Current position 19:15 BST 36 04.7N 58 05.6 W
