Greetings from yacht Ensemble.
We had a good day mainly sailing (with some motoring). Seas are slight and wind on the beam. There have been a few squalls around - and the sea swell and cross waves can be a little uncomfortable - but nothing too serious.
So far all the patches are holding up well - with no increase in water in the bilge.
At this rate we may even arrive in US Samoa by Saturday morning.
We are being met by someone from the insurance company and will have the boat hauled out as soon as possible so that damage can be assessed and repairs affected.
Our new crew (Brit and Shadow) are settling in well into life on a catamaran - and our routine of 'Sundowners'. Last night we had a BBQ dinner and ate outside.
We are still doing a radio net with the WARC 'Group 3' boats - those of us sailing to Samoa. The fleet has spread out a bit - but Wind Dancer is still in sight.
Cheers
Dave & Magali
