ARC Transatlantic Adventure DVD
Second Edition, September 2005

ARC DVD CoverNow you can experience the famous Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) through the eyes of the participating crews whilst joining them from the comfort of your armchair as they prepare for the start in Las Palmas and take you right through to the finish in St. Lucia. The story unfolds in the Transatlantic Adventure, a new DVD from the ARC organisers, World Cruising Club.

First published in VHS format in 2000, the Transatlantic Adventure has been updated to multimedia DVD format with a soundtrack in both English and German. Filmed during the biggest ever ARC, the DVD captures the people, places, boats and sailing that makes the ARC special. This professionally produced DVD, with an approximate running time of 45 minutes, will take you on a memorable journey tracing the parties and preparations in Las Palmas to the arrival and celebrations in St. Lucia 2700 miles of Atlantic Ocean later.

Particular emphasis is placed on the safety aspects, featuring how ARC boats are equipped and prepared for the Atlantic crossing which should appeal to anyone intending to make an offshore passage. The DVD is available from World Cruising Club at £20.00 including VAT, plus £1 postage and packing in the UK, and £2 overseas.
