The crew from 'Johanem' must have heard there was a crew supper planned this evening as after their 12 day crossing they just had time to tie up, plug into shore power, hop across the raft of 5 rally boats and make it up to the restaurant!
There are now 9 of the ARC Europe boats in the marina and after a pre dinner drink in Peter's Cafe the early arrivals walked to the Canto da Doca restaurant. It is more commonly know as the 'hot rocks' restaurant and crews cook up their own dinners on a hot volcanic stone.
There are 3 more yachts expected through the night and the event team will be down on the docks to welcome them and help raft up in what is now a busy Horta marina. A big aloha will be going out to the Hawaiian's onboard Kailani, the pirates on Peter Von Danzig and the family boat Mad Fish.
