With gorgeous weather on the billet and the full moon on the rise, the inaugural ARC DelMarVA rally is set to begin in Annapolis tomorrow. J/World Annapolis, ‘The Peformance Sailing School’ and now the Official Training Partner of World Cruising Club USA, is hosting the Skipper’s Briefing tomorrow evening. With a keg of local Fordham Copperhead Ale on tap, and a sunny afternoon in the forecast, it should be a great kickoff.
Crews from 23 boats will be on hand for tomorrow’s briefing. The start is set for 10am on Sunday morning, just off Back Creek in Annapolis. From there, the fleet will sail 130 nautical miles down the Chesapeake overnight before rendezvousing at Ocean Marine Yacht Center in historic Portsmouth, Virginia.
