Participants have enjoyed a busy day in Las Palmas and are now
in full preparation for the start of ARC+ 2021 on Sunday 7 November.
Many questions have been answered by the knowledgeable yellow
shirt staff who are conducting check-ins and safety checks. The team in the ARC+
Information Centre and Shop have also been busy facilitating orders and selling
t-shirts, caps and even teddy bears to commemorate this great experience.
The programme of events commences this evening with a welcome
party being held in TAO where participants will be entertained with drinks and
traditional Spanish tapas. The programme
continues over the next 10 days and includes further gatherings, kids club and
informative seminars which this year will be a selection of both online and
live talks.
The skies are blue and the atmosphere around the marina is
one of joy and excitement as crews being to meet with each other, share
knowledge and have fun. It’s a busy period for everyone involved but you cannot
escape the smiles on the crew’s faces knowing they finally have the freedom to
set sail for sunnier climates.
