The INNcredible Sea Lodge left Lagoon's factory in May 2012 and we sailed it out of Les Sables, France in early June as the start to its INNcredible journey to California. We meandered down the Atlantic coast of France, the Basque Country, Spain, Austurias, Galicia and Portugal holding up in Oeiras near Lisbon until November while the Skipper Brian Fitzpatrick returns to his Sierra Foothills vineyards to harvest the grapes and make the new vintage of wines. First Mate Andrew Starr remains with the Sea Lodge and welcomes fellow ARC participants to stop by. Andrew is available to help you with your boat projects while in Oeiras.
Early November we set sail for the Canaries to line up at the starting line. We're looking forward to this next leg of our INNcredible journey.
The INNcredible Sea Lodge's destiny is to be a floating B&B welcoming guests to enjoy a piece of our journey through the Caribbean, the Canal, then up the Pacific coast of Central America landing in Southern California

INNcredible Sea Lodge - Day Two
It's night now after a beautiful sunset followed shortly thereafter by the rising full moon to light our way. Although today started out with strong winds and high seas both have tempered a bit and the wind is pushing 20 knots more or less almost behind us allowing us to point SW. Beautiful day today with sun and a breeze which we all enjoyed. Every one has to follow a watch schedule of on 6 hours and off 9. We always have two people on and during the daytime more people are up any way. The watch schedule moves like a volleyball team so no one is stuck with midnight until 6am more than once every three or four days. No watch schedule is easy to get used to but this one gives one the ability to get a long rest in between. Racing sailors prefer on 4 hours off 4 hours but Nate complains.

Our brand new catamaran left Les Sables, France in early June and we've sailed the Atlantic coasts of France, the Basque country, Cantabria, Austurias, Galicia and Portugal.
