Mateńka is back at ARC after 30 years!
My dad and Mateńka participated in the second ARC in 1987, crossing from Las Palmas to Barbados. He passed away in 2008 and we've tried to keep Mateńka afloat ever since. Going though ups and downs, learning about sailing and maintenance. Now we want to tackle the Atlantic with her a second time, on her 30th anniversary, with ARC 2017!

Matenka - We made it to the Canaries!
Mateńka had a long journey to reach the Canary Islands for ARC 2017!After a winter season full of preparations for the big trip, we left Poland in June 2017. We passed though the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the English Channel, the Bay of Biscay and sailed all along the coats of Portugal before reaching the Canary Islands by the end of August. The trip was full of adventures and we were so happy to finally arrive in Las Palmas.However the trip didn't end there, we explored all of the Canaries this past month and are about to return to Las Palmas next week for some downtime and final prep work before the ARC departure.
