Attitude - team and bread
When sailing conditions allowed the team of SY attitude produce bread every day. At the end of the day when we need to switch on the generator to charge batteries we take the extra energy to produce bread and switch on the video to enjoy the movie of the dayThe smell of recently produce bread when we look at the movie makes a feeling to the team attitude is home…What amazing end of the dayimage1.

Attitude - sailing the trade winds
SY attitude in his third ARC experience enjoying in the ARC+2022 the real feeling of trade winds and downing sailing, with the main down we enjoy the silence and the speed of the genoa and code 0 in a butterfly position allowing us to speed above 7+ knots regularly.After some issues to start the engines in Mindelo marina and missed the starting line of 12:00; we have sail all the way with the trade winds in a relax mood Life aboard with regular activities like cleaning, cook , energy/battery charge, sailing navigation and birthday party’s are done in the summers temperature of cap verde and the tropics ( no complains ) . This includes “ after lunch “ siesta “ and 6 hours sleep to each crew member What amazing experience.

Attitude - fishing at SY attitude
Every day morning we prepare the fishing strategy for the day, lead by our chief fishermen Pablo, so far we catch 11 fishes and enjoying sashimi, tartar and grilled prepared professional by our chef Diogo.At lunch the sommelier Rui prepare the wine from Verdejo to Sauvignon Blanc to the perfect marriage all tested by our testeur Felisberto. A team of multiples talents at the table.image1.

Attitude - Arrived in Azores
Hello everyoneAfter 11 days and 7 hours at sea we crossed the finish lineat 21h05 last night. It looks we have done fairly well in this leg but will wait for final reckoning before declaring anything. Our thanks to family, friends and ARC organizing team for your support and interest in our journey which has been tremendousAs we close out the blog for now, we leave you with some words penned by Bernard Maitessier, a French solo sailor who took part in the 1968 single handed round the world non stop race “ The days go by, never monotonous.
