Godspeed 52 - Log day -17, GODSPEED 52 on her way to Las Palmas
Only 17 days to go to the start of this year’s ARC from Las Palmas to St. Lucia! Our GODSPEED 52 is making her way through the straight of Gibraltar heading towards Las Palmas. Our crew will arrive between 18th and 21st to have enough time to organise and prepare the last bits and bobs for our start on the 25th of November. Since our last blogpost GODSPEED 52 performed brilliantly in the ROLEX Middle Sea Race! There were some really hard times with winds of up to 60/65 knots, heavy wave & thunder, but speeds of up to 22 knots compensated for much of the stress. More on us as a crew and on our preparations will come soon - Stay tuned & GODSPEED, ThomGODSPEED_onherway-min.

Godspeed 52 - log day -45, We are on...
Only 45 days to go to the start of this year’s ARC from Las Palmas to St. Lucia! We are a crew of 12 and we are all keen on getting really started on our FARR 520 called GODSPEED 52! The boat’s refit has been done and it performed extremely well in the 1000 island race along the Croatian coast from Rijeka to Montenegro to Rijeka. Line honours in some stages & gusts of up to 60 knots are some of the facts worth mentioning. The next big ride of the GODSPEED 52 is the Rolex Middle Sea Race coming up, after that the boat will sail it’s way to Las Palmas. We will give you more details on boat and crew of this year’s ARC soon… Stay tuned & GODSPEED, Thom (communications guy for this leg of the GODSPEED’s world tour)IMG_1797.
