Ocean Lady - Leaving Las Palmas

This is us at the ARC Fancy Dress, Big Ears Had 3 naughty Noddys to look after, a good time had by all. Next day back to getting the boat ready for sea, washing done and food stored away, ready for the off Sunday 1pm getting ready for the more serous Sailing stuff! Ocean Lady - Our first Day

We left harbour with the band playing and hoards of people on the rocks waving us all goobye,the start line was a bit like the M25 at rush hour but we got over the line OK and managed to settle the boat on its course, had a good nights sail& all settled in to our watches,from all aboard. read more...

Were sailing with our Twins, 2 Poles & some Guys,They live at the front of the Boat,Giving no moans or Sighs,They stay up front there, doing all the hard work,You might think it's cruel for them,Out there in all weathers,But they don't have Skin at all Scales or even Feathers,You might think this a funny tale,And we arn't being fair on them at all,So to all you sailors out there,I expect you've guessed by now,We have Twin Headsails, 2Spinnakeer Poles & 2Guys.To help us out,Cos we don't want to be in the dulldrums or even in the shady,So to all ARC participant, St Lucia we hope to meet,Good Luck,Fair Winds & Good Sailing,We are sending our best wishes to you from OCEAN LADY.........m_DSC01603. read more...
