Safari - Log day 2 - happy sailors!
It was a fantastic feeling going across the starting line togheter with 220 other ARC boats yesterday evening! We were waving our Norwegian flag and cheering along with all the other participants. It was a spectacular sight when everyone put their sails up! St. Lucia here we come! Our first night has gone very well onboard. We are a bit tired, but the atmosphere is still excellent and we are all looking forward to day number two :-)Fishing gear is up and we have a stabile good drive in our sails. No monday blues in Safari, just happy-faces :-) Love fromLars, Vidar, Jon & Cecilie 198001070001.

Safari - Log day 7 - fishing competition
Lars & Vidar is the lucky winner of the fishing competition "who can make the best homemade squid"! Congratulations to both of you, you really deserve it for all the hard work and love you put in to it, hehe :-) We hope to catch some "big ones" on this very special gear! Because we have lost so many of our squids the last couple of days, we desided to have a competition and see who could make the best squid out of stuff we could find onboard. Lars and Vidar ended up cutting a "dishwashglove" into pieces and taped a hook into it. It looks beautiful and goes perfect in the water! Fish-Love from Safari 200911270010.
