Aurora - Catamaran Aurora Update
Bad news for Aurora this morning, having successfully navigated then storms overnight the main halyard snapped and and on the way down the main sail tore! (The halyard had been replaced only 6 months ago). The main halyard was replaced successfully withina couple of hours but the torn sail will handicap progress. Prior to this the crew were convinced they could maintain their leading position in the Multihull class but will now need to nurse Aurora into St Lucia. On a positive note the crew are looking forwardto down wind sailing when the main will not be as critical. Replacing Main Halyard 2 Halyard replacement.
