What a great day! As Susan Ann II is our home, the start of December means just one thing... it’s Christmas decorations time!
We had a day of Michael Bublé and George Michael Christmas songs (oh dear god) and decorated the trees. Of course we had to have 2, 1 for the inside and 1 for outside. We now have enough fairy lights that we can probably be seen from St Lucia already - with over 5 days still to go!
Morale is still high, we still have fruit and veg and are eating well every day. No fish today though but instead we made it crepe Sunday and treated ourselves to some champagne (San Pelligrino) to accompany them.
We are still averaging 6 knots and haven’t started the engines in 7 days which is very good considering the light winds. Our max has been 15kts of wind and we are maintaining around 50% wind speed.
I was originally planning on keeping GMT time for the whole trip but as I’ve now rotated forward onto day shift at last (2 weeks of nights) but still not seeing sunrise until 08:30 we’ve decided to roll our clocks back an hour per day over 4 days. We should all be well rested and ready to party when we hit the beach in St Lucia.
Love, The Daley Adventure. Xxx
