Why Join the World ARC?

The World ARC is more than a sailing rally - it's an opportunity to fulfil a lifelong ambition with the confidence, support and camaraderie that comes from travelling as part of an experienced international fleet.

From the moment you depart Darwin, you'll benefit from professional shoreside support, expert guidance and a carefully planned itinerary that takes you to some of the world's most spectacular cruising destinations. Whether you're crossing the Indian Ocean, discovering remote Indonesian islands, exploring South Africa or celebrating your arrival in the Caribbean, you'll always be part of a welcoming community of like-minded sailors sharing the same extraordinary adventure.

The rally removes much of the complexity of long-distance cruising by providing organised marina bookings, social events, local knowledge, technical assistance and weather information, allowing you to focus on what matters most - enjoying the journey.

Along the way you'll gain confidence, build lifelong friendships, immerse yourself in new cultures and create memories that will stay with you long after you've reached Saint Lucia. For many participants, it's not just the voyage that changes their lives, but the people they meet and the experiences they share along the way.

Our Experience

Since the very first ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) in 1986, World Cruising Club has been helping sailors to achieve their dreams of sailing the oceans.

Our contacts in cruising destinations are second to none, ensuring a seamless experience for you. We arrange moorings and memorable experiences. We know the right people for spares and repairs, the best bars and supermarkets and the most beautiful sunsets.

Every year 450 boats with over 1,600 people sail on a World Cruising Club rally, and we want everyone to have an amazing and memorable experience.
