Balance Catamarans builds high-performance cruising catamarans for sailors who want to explore further, sail faster and live comfortably along the way.

Founded in 2013, Balance was created around a simple idea: that sailors shouldn’t have to choose between performance and the comfort, practicality and livability needed for long-distance cruising. Drawing on decades of experience in sailing, design, engineering and boatbuilding, the team creates handcrafted catamarans designed specifically for ocean-going adventure.

From the Balance 464 through to the flagship 750, the range combines performance-focused design with the strength, reliability and cruising capability needed for life offshore. Carbon reinforcement, advanced composite construction and carefully considered systems help create boats that are light and responsive, while still capable of carrying the equipment and provisions needed for extended cruising.

A key part of the Balance philosophy is making ocean sailing accessible to smaller crews. Their yachts are designed to be easily operated by a couple, with features such as the innovative VersaHelm™ giving sailors the option of an exposed helm or a more protected position when conditions demand it.
