ARC Plus

ARC+ takes sailors across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria to the Caribbean via the Cape Verde archipelago. Originally launched in response to the ever growing popularity of the ARC, the route via the Cape Verde islands is now firmly established as a standalone rally with its own unique identity.

The Cape Verde islands are ideally placed for boats to sail ‘south until the butter melts’ and the route includes a 4 to 6 day stopover at Mindelo, São Vicente providing crews with an opportunity to discover the enchanting local culture, lively nightlife and bustling food markets that make the Cape Verdes a fascinating place to visit.

The rally makes its Caribbean landfall at Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada. This recently refurbished 227 berth marina is situated in the lagoon to the south of St George’s Harbour, and is ideally placed for the Atlantic crossing landfall. Grenada is situated at the southern end of the Windward Island chain, with superb beaches, coves and islands, it is a delightful destination, ideally placed for sailing north through some of best cruising areas in the Caribbean.
